Not only I reduce the synthetic chemicals at home (which brings on many health issues. Sinus anyone?), this is a great way to support everyone’s health at home. Not to mention being cost effective too. It also helps people to be in better moods and create a sense of peace at home. After all, home is our sanctuary!

1. Multi Purpose Cleaning Spray

I teach the blending of this Spray in my workshop and I find it incredibly easy to use. From kicthen counter tops, to toilets, to wiping tables! I like to use Siberian Fir, Peppermint and Lemon essential oils in this blend.

2. Scrub Away

Created from baking soda, castille soap and white vinegar with the same essential oils as above, this is an amazing scrub for bath tubs, sinks, shower glass doors!

3. Toilet Spray

Sprays are my fave, as you already know. I used this Toilet Spray to get rid of funny smells. A spritz here and there does the work. I also like to make my Toilet Sprays to kill microbes.

4. Linen Spray

I use this spray on my freshly laundered clothes or on my bedsheets and pillows for a good night sleep. You can try this recipe here!

5. Laundry

This is another cool way of using essential oils. I have been using soap nuts to wash my clothes, and I do add in essential oils of Thyme ct. Linalol and Tea Tree to make sure the germs are no longer there!

6. Wood Polish

Yes! You can make wood polish from beeswax too with essential oil of Siberian Fir. Polishes the surface and keep you away from the harmful wood polish sprays.

7. Floor Cleaner

Likewise with Thyme and Tea Tree, I use these together with white vinegar as my floor detergent.

8. Diffusing

Only during periods of sickness or for emotional support these days! But if I do diffuse, it does depend largely on my mood. Sometimes I need bright and uplifting, I will have Eucalyptus globulus with me, sometimes I need to ground myself more, Lavender and Patchouli do wonders.

9. Bath Time

In the olden days, unwell people use a lot of aromatic baths to heal themselves. If possible, I highly recommend people to install a bath at home. Not only hydrotherapy but together with bath salts blended with essential oils, it is amazingly therapeutic. You can have your bath time with salts and essential oils not only to relax (which does a great deal already, really), but also to help alleviate some pains/aches in your body and also cramps. It also helps in certain wound healing too.

10. Body & Hand Wash

Ahhhhhh, I actually thought my skin looks more moisturized these days now. It used to look pretty dried up. Castille soap and essential oils and a little bit of carrier oil do the trick and keep germs at bay at the same time. If you have skin issues, such as eczema or dry skin, I highly recommend you start making your own body and hand wash that don’t strip your skin bare.

There it is! Great and natural smelling. In some of my upcoming blog posts, I shall incorporate some of the recipes I use around home!
